In today’s world, technological and economic factors are changing the way Americans and people
around the world view the importance of agriculture. The purpose of the Agritechnology program
is to provide students with the opportunity to experience and learn about the issues that affect
agriculture today.
This program helps increase the student’s awareness of agricultural issues in
today’s society. The Agritechnology program is an exciting curriculum designed to prepare the
students for active employment and post-secondary training in the field of Agriscience and Agribusiness.

Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year, students who meet eligibility will have the opportunity to enroll in Introduction to Agribusiness and online Dual Enrollment classes offered by Lake City Community College. Students can also participate in Tech Prep and obtain college credit through enrollment high school courses.
