I am entering my 30th year of teaching; 29 of them have been here in Gilchrist County, so I really do love the area and the people.

My best friend is also my husband of 33 years, Rick;  he is the principal of Bell Elementary.  I enjoy reading and singing at church.  I also enjoy the time I get to spend with family and friends.

Traveling this year has been a great experience.  We went to Cuba on a mission trip;  we met sisters and brothers in Christ who have awesome faith.  We went to Washington, D.C. and the mountains twice.  Our oldest son graduated from UF with his PharmD; our youngest is a sergeant in the Army.

"I'm going to be a granny in January!"

My dream is to build a home on our property in North Carolina.  I hope your dream is to feel successful learning and utilizing new ideas and skills.
