6th graders recently had the opportunity to visualize many different cells using microscopes!
They observed bacteria, plant cells (from onions, ornamental, and aquatic plants), human cheek cells, and living things called Protozoa - organisms that are not an animal, plant, fungus, or bacteria!
Using a dissecting microscope they saw a close up of a crane fly, with its “huge” antennas and eyes. It was so much fun!
