The launch of Gilchrist County School District's new app has been a success! Within one day of launch, the app has already been downloaded over 225 times! The GCSD app can be used on any smartphone or tablet. It is available for download in the App Store or Google Play. In order to get this new app, all you have to do is search for "GCSD" where you normally download apps from on your phone. Once it's on your phone, you will need to open the app and select which school(s) you receive notifications from within your settings.
The app contains real-time information on staff, news, events, sports, breakfast/lunch menus, important documents, and more. If you select to receive notifications, you will receive immediate notifications on your phone about important news, such as school closures.
