In continuation of CTE Month, please take a look at the Construction program that we offer at Trenton High School. This program allows students to become certified in Carpentry Level 1 through the National Center for Construction and Education Research (NCCER). Students take Building Construction Technology 1, 2, and 3. The third course in the sequence of courses is a Level 3 course that counts as Honors credit. Students may even become eligible to receive free college credit! The Construction program provides students with hands-on learning activities that are valuable and relevant. Soon, we will be sharing info on how existing 8th graders can visit CTE programs, learn more, and apply. The first class would start in 9th grade. Stay tuned for more info!
