Today at dismissal time, we had an unidentified person walk on the THS campus. As a precautionary measure, both Trenton campuses were put on a brief lockdown until an all clear was established. Student and staff safety is our number one priority.

~GCSD Open Wednesday~ The Gilchrist County School District will be open for students and staff on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. We will continue to monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian and stay in contact with Gilchrist County Emergency Management. Based on the information we have at this time, it is safe for us to return to school on Wednesday.

GCSD CLOSED ON TUESDAY Due to the uncertainty of the path of the storm, we will be closed on Tuesday. We are expecting strong winds in the area on Tuesday. We are in continuous communication with the Emergency Management Center and will be posting any updates on Facebook.
