THS ATHLETICS
The guiding principles of THS school sports programs are to develop the qualities of sportsmanship, integrity, respect for others, teamwork, leadership, aspiration, work ethic, personal accountability, physical fitness, and a healthy lifestyle within all student athletes.
The goal in sportsmanship is not simply to win, but to pursue victory with honor by giving one's best effort. The pursuit of victory is important, but only to the extent that winning contributes to these higher, character building goals of sport. Participating in and/or attending school athletic events is a privilege dependent on sportsmanlike conduct.

Tryouts: October 30th - 31st in the New Gym
Middle School 3:30 - 4:30pm
JV/Varsity 4:30pm - 6:00pm
Practices begin November 1st
Middle School: 3:30 - 4:30pm in the Old Gym
JV: 4:30 - 6:00pm in the Old Gym
Varsity: 3:30 - 6:00pm in the New Gym

Tryouts Monday October 30th in the New Gym:
Paperwork Check-in with Coach Burton in his office from 3:45 - 4:15pm
Middle School: 6:00 - 7:30pm in the New Gym
JV/Varsity: 7:30-9:00pm in the New Gym
Tentative Boys Basketball Practice Schedule:
JV: 6:00 - 7:30pm Weeknights in the New Gym
Varsity: 7:00 - 9:00pm Weeknights in the New Gym
Middle School: 3:30 - 5:00pm at TES Gym
Girls Weightlifting
Officially begins on October 9th
Practices will be every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-4:30pm
MUST complete physical, consents, and videos before participating
