Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides students with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners. CTE programs are designed to prepare individuals for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand careers.

CTE is an educational approach that combines core academic knowledge with technical and occupational skills to prepare students for the workforce. It is available at middle schools, high schools, technical colleges, and community colleges.
