STUDENT GRADES

SKYWARD FAMILY ACCESS

Please read before proceeding.

Skyward Family Access is now ready for your use.

Gilchrist County, along with 9 other nearby school districts, moved in School Year 2010-11 to a new Student Information System called Skyward. Skyward integrates the Teachers’ Gradebooks with the rest of the system, and includes an integrated Family Access portal for parents and guardians. This allows parents and guardians to easily check students’ assignments, grades, absences, etc. Parents/guardians may also request email notifications for low grades, absences and/or periodic progress reports.

ACCESSING GRADES AND ATTENDANCE INFORMATION:

In order to use Family Access, fill out the required security form, including all of your children and a valid email address where we may contact you. Forms may be picked up at the front office of your student’s school, or you may print it out online at the link above. Once you have completed this form, return it to your school or the county office, and it will be processed by the MIS department. Your personal login ID and password will then be emailed to you. The email will include a link to the sign on page for Family Access. You can also access the login page here.

Skyward Family Access includes a calendar, which shows all of a student’s assignments and grades in one place, as well as a traditional Gradebook grid. You will also have access to attendance, test scores, and other helpful information.

Please keep in mind that Skyward Family Access is meant to be used only as a communication tool. Although we strive for accuracy, grades and attendance are constantly changing. If you have any questions regarding grades or attendance, please contact the teacher first.
