Around 8:00pm tonight, we received an email threat to Gilchrist County School District. With this short notice, we cannot confirm how legitimate this threat is. We are working with the Gilchrist County Sheriff, Bobby Schultz, and other Law Enforcement Agencies to determine the validity. In light of the recent incident in Broward County, and out of abundance of caution, we will be closing school tomorrow, February 16th in order to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
