- Guess the Reader- Pictures will be posted in media center of teachers reading their favorite book with their faces hidden; students will guess which teacher is behind each book cover!
- “Caught Reading” – Faculty/Staff/Admin will give students a “Caught Reading” ticket, if caught reading outside of class time. Student tickets will be deposited in media center and drawn for “prizes” on Friday.
- An excerpt from a popular book and author will be read aloud during morning announcements. Students guess the title and author. Tickets provided to classroom teachers to note the first one from each classroom. Tickets will be collected for drawing Friday morning. Book Trailers (digital) will be shared in Reading/ELA classrooms, for Bellwork, celebrating AR titles and new books available in the media center.
March 13
- AR Celebration Quarter 2 “Cookies and Tea” during MS and HS lunch for those students meeting the AR quarterly goal.
