Homecoming Parade

2021 THS Homecoming Parade

Trenton High School’s Homecoming Parade will be on Friday, September 17th at 9:30am.

Line up for floats/participants will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. at the Trenton City Park. There will be A and B lots with specific numbers for each parade participant. All walking participants and single vehicles will be lined up in lot A. All large trailers/floats will be in lot B. Anyone from the community who is interested in having a float in the parade must pay $15 and submit a completed entry form. Checks can be made payable to THS SGA.

In addition, all designated drivers must be at least 21 years old, provide a copy of driver’s license, and provide proof of vehicle insurance.  All of this information will be due to THS no later than Friday, September 10.  Any student on a float must have their permission slip in hand upon entrance at the parade gate and turn it into each club sponsor. Entry forms and student permission slips will be available at the Trenton High School front office or you can email Madison Mower at mowerm@mygcsd.org for an electronic version. For more information, call 463-3210.

This year’s parade route will be the same as last year. We will begin at the City Park. We will travel down Main Street, turn left down 307A, travel around the THS bus loop, down the dirt road, and travel through the TES bus loop. Once done, all floats will exit through the TES main gate and end up back at the City Park. Participants should NOT unload at Trenton Elementary

It is important that you turn in all required paperwork in so that our homecoming parade runs smoothly. There is no limit on the number of floats in the parade, so all participants are welcomed.

Rules for all floats participating:

  • 10 or less MPH while driving the parade route
  • All vehicles must keep 3 car length distances while driving the route
  • No candy shall be passed out, thrown or handed out
