BAND AND MUSIC PROGRAMS
At Trenton Middle/High School, music is for everyone. With a great number of activities available for students to choose from these days, the TMHS Band Program provides the benefits of personal growth and development. We are here to help students to reach their potential and even go beyond. The benefits of being exposed to a music education have been well researched and documented and there are so many reasons that our program is a wonderful resource for students in our community and school. Students are gaining skills in leadership and discipline and developing deep self respect, as well as respect for others and their leaders. Marching band offers a camaraderie that is second to none. When people experience hard work for a common purpose, enjoy the thrill of the positive experiences as well as the sorrows of defeat, they grow in appreciation of each other. At TMHS, our program has flourished over recent years and produced some of the most skilled, respectful, and truly amazing music students in our area. We are proud to continue pushing forward to provide opportunities for others to truly experience and partake in music and the arts in our schools and community.
In addition to their musical and fundraising endeavors, students in the music program are required to keep their grades up and to participate in practices, performances and competitions. They sacrifice their free time because they believe in the program and enjoy the benefits that come with being involved in music.
Members of the Trenton Band Boosters strive to help the Trenton Middle/High School Band program continue to thrive and be a top quality program here in North Central Florida. We are here to make sure the foundation is laid with plenty of opportunity for all students in the band program. Without our local community’s support, this program could not survive.
