What is the sewing club?
The Sewing Club is open to students of all sewing abilities, including those with no experience. Come learn the essentials, then build up your skills in a fun environment with others! Students select projects or learn techniques based on personal interests. Activities may include learning to mend your own clothes, create gifts, upcycle garments into unique clothing, or even design an accessory to wear. Your skills can also be put to use by helping those in need, as the club partners with various community organizations for projects.
In this club you will learn the following skills:
· Learn the components of the sewing machine
· Learn how to cut out a pattern
· Learn how to sew projects (garments and crafts)
· Learn how to hand stitch
· Learn how to embroider
· Learn how to design your own masterpiece
