Bell Elementary School students look at trash in a whole new way. During the Third Annual BES Upcycled Art Expo, participants were challenged to take items destined for the landfill and turn them into fabulous works of art. Ninety-five students in grades kindergarten through fifth submitted artworks that were judged on use of repurposed materials, originality, neatness, aesthetic quality, and artist statement. Certificates for Best in Show, 2nd Place, and Honorable Mention were awarded to students in each grade level.
