Sixth graders from Bell High School participated in a mock trial at the Gilchrist County Courthouse Monday October 15, 2018. Students were chosen to "assist" Judge Lancaster, the Clerk of the Court, Defense Attorney, Prosecuting Attorney, the bailiff, and the court registrar. Sixteen students were chosen to be jurors. It was an amazing opportunity for the students to learn about and take part in the judicial process.
