The class of 2019 left their mark on Trenton High School during the sidewalk signing at the gym. Every year, the graduating class gets to sign a new section of concrete to commemorate their time at THS.


Congratulations to the FGC Board of Trustees Scholarship Recipients. They will receive two years of paid tuition at Florida Gateway College.

6th grade agriculture students are learning about the water cycle and the Florida aquifer. Students are creating an edible aquifer display.


After writing a note in remembrance of the fallen officers, Ashley Nickolls and Faith Sears continue to do class work.


Student Ambassadors plant a tree in honor of the fallen officers.



Florida Gateway College is offering summer camps for students ages 8-16. For more information visit https://www.fgc.edu/discover/parents-families/summer-camps/.

Driver's Ed will be offered this summer at Bell High School. Coursework will take place on June 3-6, 2019 and students must attend all 4 days from 8-4. A driving schedule will be set up at a later date. For more information or to sign up see Mrs. Lundy in guidance.

Tri-M will be hosting auditions for the annual Gilchrist Got Talent, talent show April 22 from 3:30-5pm in the THS auditorium. There is an entry fee of $10 for solos and $15 for groups. The money is due at the time of auditions. The show will be hosted on April 25 at 6PM in the auditorium and there will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places!

To warn students of the dangers of distracted and drunk driving, THS Student government held Prom Promise, an event where the student body pledges to avoid drinking and driving. Thank you to Gilchrist County Fire Rescue, UF Health Shands and everyone else who contributed to this event.



There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in trying out for football or cheerleading next year on Monday April 15, at 2:45. The football meeting will be in the weight room and the cheer meeting will be in the old gym.

The FFA Plant Sale is tomorrow at 8 a.m. at Trenton Elementary School. They will have a wide variety of plants for sale. Come out and support the THS FFA!

Congratulations to Grace Guthrie on signing to play softball at Santa Fe College.

The Prom Promise planning committee met today to start planning Prom Promise. Thank you to UF Health Shands Trauma, Matthew Rexroat and Kevin Benson for your help in planning this event.



Reminder to all parents of 8th graders: There is a CTE and Registration night tonight at 6pm at the Bell High School Auditorium.

Students at THS celebrated Literacy Week this week by finding new ways to enjoy reading.





The Lady Tiger Basketball team is hosting a cake auction on April 12th at 6 pm in the auditorium to raise money for championship rings. Come out and support the Lady Tigers!


Today, 8th grade students from THS visited Bell to check out their CTE programs.
