
BHS had a great showing of students and staff at the Ed. Foundation of Gilchrist County Walk-A-Thon this morning, and raised almost $3,000 for Senior Scholarships!






The Leadership Summit at Camp Kulaqua was a huge success and very powerful experience for our students. Everyone had a great time!









Last week, students in Mr. Brunty’s class created and tested catapults to explore energy.





Last week, students in Mrs. Wright’s class developed and presented a hypothetical plan of self-governance after being “shipwrecked” as an introduction to government.


Last week, students in Ms. Hunter’s class used Quiz, Quiz, Trade to practice new Spanish vocabulary words.

Please help us congratulate Bell Academy of Agriscience students who earned 2nd place in the State of Florida for the Environmental Science Career Development Competition!!!!! Team members included Aubrey Ezratty, Addison Lunn, Brayden Smith, and Justin Turner.
Earlier in the year, these students competed against over 120 different schools across the state of Florida in the environmental science preliminary where they earned a coveted top 10 finish to advance to the state finals!
The state finals event was hosted recently at the University of Florida Natural Resources Research Center in Apopka, FL. The team participated in hands on practicums including:
GPS Practicum
Waste Problem Solving Practicum
Water Analysis Practicum
Identification Practicum of over 200 native and invasive species
Group Presentation Practicum where the team presented solutions to a randomly assigned topic regarding FL conservation efforts (this years topic was allocating a restrictive budget on new AI technology to enhance data collection on endangered species)

Bell High School HOSA participated in Regional competition on Saturday January 18,2025 at Bellview High School.
Regional HOSA Competition started in December for students whose event required them to take a knowledge test to move on to Round 2- skills. If the student placed in the top five they advanced to the skills event which took place Saturday.
