
BHS staff and students observed a moment of silence Tuesday morning in remembrance of 9/11.

High School students will have the opportunity to earn Community Service Hours at the Volleyball Tournment this Friday and/or Saturday. Please see Mrs. Barry at school if interested.

The Junior class is hosting a Homecoming Dance after the game on Sept. 28. Price is $5.00 per person and drinks will be available for purchase.

Just a reminder that Monday, 9/3 is Labor Day and there will be no school. Additionally, Tuesday, 9/4 is an early release day for students. We hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend and we will see you Tuesday!

FGC College Night


BHS Seniors attended College Night at Florida Gateway College Tuesday evening. Over 50 colleges were on hand to speak to students and provide information regarding admission requirements.





Congratulations to Tristan Townsend on breaking the Bell High School Cross Country Record Saturday at the Hurricane Invitational by running 3.2 miles in 18 minutes and 25 seconds!

Attention Seniors (and parents): it is time to schedule grad checks with Mrs. Leggett. Please see Mrs. Andrea Gregory in the front office to schedule. A parent must be present at each grad check.

The Bell Bulldogs will be taking on Maclay High School in Tallahassee tonight at 7:00 PM. Address of game is 3737 N. Meridian Road. Come on out and support your team! Go Dawgs!


Herff Jones will be at BHS on Tuesday, 8/28 and Wednesday, 8/29 to take orders for class rings. A $60 deposit is due when ordering.

JROTC Raider practices will be on Mondays from 3:15 to 4:15, and JROTC Color Guard and Drill practices will be on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:15.

ATTENTION SENIORS! It's time to sign up for the 32nd Annual College Night at Florida Gateway College on Tuesday, 8/28. We will leave BHS at 4:00 PM and return at 9:00 PM. Additionally, seniors may participate in The First Annual College Day Fair in Gainesville on Thursday, 8/30 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (BHS will transport students). Multiple colleges will be present at both events to provide seniors with information on degree options, scholarships, cost of admissions, and more. Seniors must sign up to attend in the front office.

Yearbooks are now on sale for $50. Please see Mrs. Johnson in the library to place your order. Prices will increase to $60 after January 1, 2019.
