First and foremost, we are thinking of you all and hoping everyone maneuvers safely through yet another hurricane.
We have made the decision to move all homecoming activities to next week, 10/14-10/18. Please contact the school if you have any questions, and again, stay safe!
All Gilchrist County Schools will be closed Wednesday, October 9th and Thursday, October 10th. All sports and activities are cancelled beginning after school on Tuesday through Wednesday evening. If the weather permits, nighttime activities may resume on Thursday evening. Shelters will open on Tuesday evening beginning at 6 pm.
Congratulations to the JV Girls Cross Country team for placing 2nd at the Alligator Lake Invitational on Saturday at Lake City! The girls placed ahead of 12 other schools from around Florida including Suwannee, the Villages, Baker County, and Gainesville. A big shout out to Haylee Lunn who finished in 6th place and Skyler Snyder who finished 7th place out of 51 girls! Also, congratulations to Autumn Jury, Bella Rawlins, Calista McGuigan, and Meaghan Little for rounding out the rest of team.

Mrs. Gregory’s 6th grade World History classes made cuneiform tablets today. The students made a tablet and wrote their name using the ancient cuneiform writing. They enjoyed this activity very much and are very appreciative to the parents who purchased the clay! 😊
