The Resiliency Trait for October is Honesty.
In the dictionary, honesty is defined as βbeing truthful.β This definition of honesty doesnβt give us the full picture of what honesty means. The real definition of honesty is βthe state of mind where oneβs actions are done in accordance to the values one has set for himself/herself.β
Honesty is not only the ability to speak the truth, but also the ability to do what is right, to live up to what you believe and stand by your values.

Thank you and stay safe.
Due to widespread power outages and impassable roads, all schools and the district office will remain closed on Monday, September 30th.Β All sports and other activities are also canceled for Monday.Β We hope to open schools on Tuesday, and we will meet again with Emergency Management officials on Monday afternoonto make that determination.

Mrs. Gregoryβs 6th grade World History classes have been learning about cultural history and the importance of preserving the monuments left behind by previous cultures. Students were divided into groups and drew monuments that might be constructed in our town, due to their cultural impact.
