
Parents, just a reminder that Wednesday, 5/22 through Friday, 5/24 are early release days and students will be released at 1:00. Friday, 5/24 is the last day of school! We hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe summer!

Seniors: Don’t forget to meet at the flag pole tomorrow, Wednesday, at 11:00 to do the concrete signing.

Seniors, please sign up for an exit interview with Mrs. Leggett prior to leaving Friday! Time slots are available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and a sign-up sheet is located on Mrs. Leggett’s door. 🤗

There will be free sports physicals on campus on Wednesday, 5/15/19 in the Health Academy building directly after school. Students must have completed, signed paperwork by their parents before a physical will be done. Paperwork is available in the front office at BHS.

Parents - Please be on the look-out for information coming to you on Project Elephant. This project is an educational opportunity for your child and is meant to address rising rates of suicide across the nation. The initial step of this project includes a documentary called "Not Alone." The film is available on Netflix if you want to preview it before your child participates in the viewing. Project Elephant begins on Tuesday, so if you would like to opt out from your child viewing the documentary, please contact your school's Guidance Counselor by Monday.

BHS presented this basket of goodies to our School Resource Officer, Deputy Bryant Davidson. We are very appreciative of Deputy Davidson and the Gilchrist County Sheriffs Office for all that they do for us!


Yearbooks are here! If you have prepaid for your yearbook, they are available for pickup in the library with Mrs. Johnson. There are a limited number of extra books available for sale for $60.00.

Palms Medical Center is offering free sports physicals during the months of May and June. A current sports physical is required annually for students to try out for or participate in a middle or high school sport. See the BHS "news" section for more information.

A sign-up sheet for Summer Driver's Ed has been placed in the front office. Students must be at least 15 and have a Learner's Permit. Priority will be given to the 15 oldest eligible students that sign up. Please see "News" section on our website more details.

Current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will register for 2019-2010 courses on Monday, 4/15 (9th), Tuesday, 4/16 (10th), and Wednesday, 4/17 (11th) with Mrs. Leggett. Students will need their Skyward Usernames and Passwords to register.

FSA ELA Writing Testing will be Wednesday, 4/3 (9th graders) and Thursday, 4/4 (10th graders).

BHS High-School Registration Night will be on Monday, 4/8/19 at the BHS auditorium at 6:30. We encourage all parents/students to attend and receive important information.

3rd 9-weeks report cards went home with students today.

Summer Driver's Education will be 6/3/19-6/6/19. Sign-Ups will begin on Monday, 4/22/19 in the front office at BHS. To sign up, students MUST be 15 years old, have a Learner's Permit, and have transportation to and from Bell High School. Students will be chosen based on meeting qualifications and age (oldest to youngest).

Blue Line ribbons are being sold at BHS for $1.00 each. All proceeds will be given to the families of the fallen Gilchrist County Sheriff's Deputies. Please see Deputy Davidson or one of the BHS Student Ambassadors to purchase.
