
High School Midterm Exam Schedule


Congratulations to Ms. Blakey and the Varsity Hi-Q team for taking first place in the Divisional Tournament in Chiefland this week!



Mrs. Hudson’s Drawing classes are working on Heavy Gauge Foil Relief.


The senior class is selling Gator Dockside gift cards for only $10! Contact Mrs. Sue Hurst, Mrs. Janet Johnson, or any senior to purchase.



The BHS Hi-Q team is hosting a family movie night fundraiser on Friday, 11/30 at 7:00 PM at the BHS auditorium. “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will be showing. Tickets can be pre-purchased for $4.00 per person, $5.00 at the door, or $10.00 for a family of three. Ticket holders will receive a soda, popcorn, and candy. Hope to see you Friday night and thank you for your support of BHS Hi-Q!


6th grade students will be sending Christmas Cards to recovering soldiers, as well as some local Gilchrist County former students that are currently serving. We will gladly take donations of stamps or Christmas cards.

Thanksgiving Break (schools closed) will be Monday, 11/19 through Friday, 11/23. We hope that everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving break!

A "Books are Fun" Christmas display is set up in the BHS library. All orders need to be placed and paid for by Wednesday, November 28th. Delivery will be Thursday, November 29th.

BHS Volleyball will be selling chicken dinners Tuesday evening, 11/13 from 5:30-7:30. Pickup is in the BHS Cafeteria and donations are accepted.

Congratulations to the BHS Varsity Volleyball team on their Semi-State Final Win Saturday!They will play Friday in Fort Meyers at 1:00 for the State Title!

Mrs. Lyles ELA students worked on Venn Diagrams in class this week.


Bell Volleyball will play in the State Semi-Final Game on Saturday in Trenton at 2:00 in the old gym behind the football field. Doors will open at 12:00 and admission is $9.00 (per FHSAA). Come out and support your Lady Dawgs Volleyball team!

The Health Academy/HOSA is having a car wash and yard sale Saturday, November 9th from 8:30AM until noon in the front of Bell High School. Please come out and support the Health Academy.

Mrs. Hudson’s Drawing students spent time today making posters for the volleyball poster contest.

BHS JROTC and Band perform for Veteran's Day Program.


The deadline for ordering a yearbook on-line has been extended to December 31, 2018.
